JL 12W7AE Tight- Subwoofer Product Description The W7AE (available in 8, 10, 12, and 13.5-inch models) celebrates 10 years of the W7 platform. It features a unique Satin Black Cast-Alloy Basket and a bright anodized trim ring. Unlike standard subwoofers, the W7 uses a "floating" cone attachment method that maximizes radiating cone area ($S_d$) for its given size.
